Inspired by the eponymous comic, Mutafukaz marks the debut of French cartoonist Run, aka Guillaume Renard, who co-signs a multifaceted artwork, evoking the universe of street art, manga and hip-hop. Needless to say that the mix proves particularly explosive especially when the Ankama Animations / 4 ° C co-production does not hesitate to seek inspiration from John Carpenter 's caracteristic use of cinemascope. No doubt: Renard (which means fox in French) has good taste!
