A tidal wave floods part of the Tokyo coast. After thinking it was a natural disaster, scientists understand that the origin is none other than Godzilla, a giant creature ready to cause havoc.

Kaiju eiga "next-gen" directed by the demiurge otaku Hideaki Anno (dad of Evangelion) supported for the occasion by the genius of the SFX Shinji Higuchi (the trilogy Gamera of the 90s), Shin Godzilla stands out as the most Radical, personal and spectacular giant(s) monster(s) ever made. This revolutionary Godzilla thus breaks with the tradition of "the man in a suit" and proposes a 100% digital monster with an organic rendering. Political, metaphysical and poetic, Shin Godzilla is now the unsurpassable horizon of kaiju eiga. Nothing less.
