In the aftermath of an accident, Kei Nagai, a typical high school student, discovers he is an Ajin, an immortal being. The government considers him a devil and he ends up a fugitive on the run with the help of another rebel.

Adaptation of a manga hit signed Gamon Sakurai (and published in France by Glénat), Ajin: Demi-Human mix action, gore and special effects with a generosity and a sense of the show that do not have to blush face to the most affluent American blockbusters. Led by the experienced Katsuyuki Motohiro, a hard-working and versatile artisan of Japanese cinema, Ajin: Demi-Human is to be ranked alongside other achievements of the manga-cinema such as the excellent diptych SF Parasyte.
