PIFFF 2015 : Total Revealing!

Posted on 26/10/15

The fifth edition – remember, November 17th to 22nd at the Grand Rex – of the Paris International Fantastic Film Festival has recently been introduced to you, time now to reveal all its charms...

More previews: Blind Sun by Joyce A. Nashawati, a first feature film, solar and nerve-racking, which makes you not want to go on holidays in Greece ; the highly crazy The Virgin Psychics by Sono Sion, a very very sexy SF comedy which might make you itch ; post-apocalyptic The Survivalist by Stephen Fingleton, a uniquely realistic anticipation movie ; Don't Grow Up by Thierry Poiraud, where growing up means dying for teenagers endangered by enraged adults ; Southbound, the height of gore sketch movie by the same team of trouble-makers who did V/H/S, this time creating a universe between EC comics and The Fourth Dimension ; last but not least, Green Room by Jeremy Saulnier, a John Carpenter style survival movie where punk bandsmen have to escape from angry and bloodthirsty skinheads.

New for 2015: a screening for kids inaugurated by the animation feature film Dofus le film – livre 1 : Julith by Jean-Jacques Denis and Anthony "Tot" Roux, a long- awaited adaptation of the famous MMORPG created by Ankama in 2004.

Lastly, because we need and want cult movies, the PIFF 2015 offers to (re)discover Darkman by Sam Raimi, Monkey Shines by George A. Romero, The Thing by John Carpenter and The Reflecting Skin by Philip Ridley.

Rendez-vous very soon...
