Ever since 2016, the Grand Prix Climax’s goal is to encourage creation in the field of Genre cinema, to defend the work of the scenario and to encourage collaboration with directors or producers so that in the near future French Genre creations will emerge, reflecting their rich plurality and diversity.

Grand Prix Climax is now an organisation, it is still supported by the PIFFF, the Max Linder Panorama, Shadowz and Backstory L'Association.

After the pitches of the five finalists, the jury will announce the winner of the Grand Prix Climax 2025. The ceremony will be followed by a discussion around genre cinema in France.
