Quiet Alexandre Demarre joins the staff of Vigilante, a cash-in-transit company marked by a series of bloody robberies and its future absorption by an American company. The new employee blends in with the crowd, with ulterior motives in mind.

Director Nicolas Boukhrief enters the third millennium in a gloomy mood following the critical and public failure of his second feature film, Pleasure (And Its Little Inconveniences). He confided in his mentor, Andrzej Zulawski, and the latter gave him a decisive piece of advice: turn to genre cinema, the thriller in particular. He even gave him the beginning of a plot as a gift. Boukhrief worked on the subject, was touched by grace and produced this cheeky thriller, with a cast that was as eccentric as it was obvious. He develops a taste for silence and contemplation on the part of his out-of-touch heroes, who will haunt one of the most unjustly underestimated films in contemporary French cinema.
