While Wyrmwood (2014) had its fair share of similarities to George Miller's original Mad Max, this belated sequel leers unabashedly at the new tribal worlds depicted in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. Well, in the main lines. As for the rest, the Roache-Turner brothers (Kiah as director, Tristan as producer/writer) indulge with the same greed in the gore spread to the four winds and in the regressive action movie never interrupted in its momentum. If Wyrmwood 3 and 4 were to replay Beyond Thunderdome and Fury Road, the PIFFF would be just as happy.
